Hola! My name is Adilah but for all intensive purposes you can refer to me as Bluej. I love many things but my top 4 are: Movies, Music, Food and Dance but lets go back to the first one MOVIES! Growing up in my household we weren’t allowed to watch a lot of TV (there was even a year or two when we didnt even own a tv!). So outside of cartoons the only show we were allowed to watch was the Cosby Show but one thing that was always constant was my family’s love of MOVIES! The first movie I ever saw was the star wars trilogy (I have two older brothers) I even remember the first movie I saw in the theater…wait for it……Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. I was 7 and it was the best movie ever! ( at least i thought so back then). So even though TV shows were pretty much banned in my house….movies were always allowed and thus my love for great cinema was cemented at an early age.
So where did the idea for a movie blog come from?….well your gonna laugh but i was googling “how to get tickets to a movie premiere” and one of the suggestions was ” start a movie blog reviewing movies and have your blog get noticed”. I dont know about getting noticed but i watch ALOT of movies, so I thought I might as well do something useful with that and write about them, since writing is another of my favorite things and i don’t do enough of it. So that is the story of how this blog got started.

Hi! I think what i liked the best about your blog is how its two friends from across the world writing so cool! I’m from NY but not the city, I live near the capital and right now were covered in a bunch of snow!. ” the yellow brick road” comes from the movie The Wizard of Oz which is a classic movie and since my blog is a movie blog I wanted the title to be somehow related to movies.
